Review: Kat Von D High Voltage Eye Primer

HI gals!

Ya its MOnday! i would say near too missing but work is definitely not taking me away from this lovely blogsphere... Just a fast catch-up and whats going on recently, i had been hitting an rather frequent these days and silently finishing up products which i'm very proud of!

I had hitted pan on the bareVitamins Prime Time Eyelid Primer think a month ago, so i decided to try out my new buy thru Amy! I like Kat Von D, i mean i love her show, personality and of course her makeup line.
Even the packaging is so nice, with her signature stars!

Not forgetting the tube itself too!

A close up of the tube.
At the top of the cap, you can find her initial on it, the cap is made of a rubbery texture material. So i easily stain it with my fingerprints on as i put on my foundation using fingers.

This texture of this eyelid primer is richer as compare to the Bare Vitamins one i used.

The finishing of the primer on my hand.

Review:
I'm a sucker for packaging that's why i pick this up before going further for reviews. Now i had read both good and bad about this product, guess all items will have fair share of these comments. I personally feel that, this might not be the best eyelid primer but i would say its passable in holding them in place and maintain the blingness of the eyeshadow i'm wearing. As for creasing, i would say slight as i usually wear my full makeup for 10 hours & above for each day. So i notice that it creases at times... The texture is richer like a concealer, and has a mattifying finishes. This product only comes in one shade which i think might not suit darker skin due to the thickness of the formula. I might give this product a miss than re-purchase...

ANY recommendation for eyelid primer? or share with me the one you are using now.

Swatches: Part of my Operation Blush Project

Its Saturday now and while i'm typing and editing the pictures its almost Sunday... I decided to do some swatches post on blushes i'm using as part of the project i'm doing now.

The first one is Majolica Majorca Blush, Its a affordable and pretty packaging Japan drugstore label that i have access too. I'm always attracted to their packaging.. Here's the Blush and Highlighter i used.

Its in longish shape which is very different compare to the usual round or rectangle.

I had them in Taiwan & Singapore version which explains the diff in the explanation label.
This is what i'm attracted to.. can't resist the embossed logo.
The blush comes in a transparent slot case that makes storage easier.

Singapore version will print the manufactured & expiration date on the case itself.

Close-up pic of the highlighter.

This is an earlier version of blush they had, Majolica Majorca Dolly Spice, its limited edition & discontinued.

This contains 2g of product which is not much but the pigment are quite intense and lasting.

Just to show you roughly how it looks after extracted from packaging

MAC Bi-Tone which Amy got for me during my last package from her!

Its my 2nd Mineralized Blush from MAC..

I got this blush from Amy too, its a thai brand which i'm always curious about!

The blush comes with a brush.

The ingredient list for those who might be interested.

Swatches of the blush (click for larger view)

I got these KATE blushes a while back and only have time to do swatches now.

The info label are mainly in chinese are its bought in Taiwan, but now its readily available in Singapore, YES KATE has reaches Singapore!

I bought both the orange & pink one.

Swatches of the KATE Cheek Blush, its more sheer & contains slight shimmers.

Haveyou been neglecting your blushes like i do? Try this project and you might rediscover your blush once again!

Nail Swatch: Rimmel Long Last Pro #270 Steel Gray

Thanks for all your birthday wishes! I did enjoyed myself a bit for this birthday & was very delighted to see those greeting post by some gals that i know. I got carried away to enjoying my own time thus neglecting to do posting here ...

Posting a swatch of my new polish from May! Its part of my birthday package!! I had never try any of Rimmel polish before so its my first. I'm really liking the formula, really lasting. I'm still wearing it since Saturday, today is already Wednesday and absolutely no chip thus far.

If you start to notice i really like grey shade for polish as they makes my skin looks fair in contrast.

It comes in a squarish, heavy bottle with very unique slimming cap.

This bottle contains 13.3ml which is almost comparable to those full size formula.

See what i mean, does my fingers look really fair to you now?

what is your fav kind of shade of polish?
